| Research Abstract |
三重県英虞湾において, 以前開発した「プランクトン発生捕捉チャンバー(PETチャンバー)」を用いて植物プランクトンの現場海底からの発芽細胞を捕捉した。その結果, 珪藻類で29属58種, 渦鞭毛藻類(有殻類)で19属55種の海底からの発芽細胞を捉えることに成功した。また, 特に珪藻類のいくつかの種で海底からの発芽挙動と水柱中における栄養細胞の出現との関係を明らかにし, 個体群形成おける生態戦略を解明することができた。
