Research Abstract

ラットの骨髄造血幹細胞を採取し、実験的自己免疫性脳脊髄炎の発症時の中枢神経組織に移植したが、脳脊髄炎の臨床症状は移植群と非移植群の間に差はみられなかった。移植した骨髄造血幹細胞は脳脊髄炎を起こしていた腰部脊髄組織には確認できなかった。さらにNODマウスに髄鞘オリゴデンドロサイト糖蛋白を感作して発症させた再発寛解型脳脊髄炎に骨髄造血幹細胞を移植した。このNODマウスでは脳脊髄炎とともに視神経炎を起こしており、少量ではあるが移植した骨髄造血幹細胞が寛解期の視神経に確認され, 今後骨髄造血幹細胞移植の生着の促進と臨床症状の改善に関する研究を行う必要がある。
