| Research Abstract |
統合失調症の治療には通常薬物療法が選択されるが、今後期待されるその他の治療法のひとつに反復的経頭蓋磁気刺激療法がある。この治療法は幻聴や陰性症状の改善に有効である可能性が指摘されているが、その作用機作は不明であり、個々の症例での有効性の予測の指標も確立されていない。本研究では脳磁図を用いた時間分解能の高い脳機能画像を得る手法を確立するとともに、それを用いて本治療法の作用機作や有効性予測の指標を確立することを最終目標として基礎的な研究をおこない、いくつかの重要な成果を得た。
