Research Abstract |
アルツハイマー病などの神経変性疾患では脳内でグリア細胞であるミクログリア(Mi)が病変部に集積し活性化している。Miが脳内で休止型から活性型になると末梢性ベンゾジアゼピン受容体(PBR)が発現し、PBRの発現とMiの毒性転換に関連性が深いことが示唆されている。ポジトロンCT(PET)を用いて生体内でPBRの発現をモニタリングできれば神経変性疾患の早期診断が可能となる。ラットモデルに対しPETとPBR製剤により、活性型Miを生体内で画像化可能かどうか検討した。活性化した株化Mi細胞で基礎的検討も行った。
