| Research Abstract |
これまでまったく疼痛管理とは関係していないとされている薬剤の脊髄、硬膜外投与で緩和されることが明らかとなってきた。このことは脊髄後角レベルに様々な疼痛伝達、抑制機構があることを示している。この機構に作用すると考えられる様々な薬剤を動物実験、臨床研究で用いることにより、手術後に疼痛抑制作用を示すことを明らかとした。このような方法により術後クオリティオブライフが向上することが期待できる。
