| Research Abstract |
高齢者や術後は日和見感染が多いことから、細胞性免疫の賦活化が重要と考えられる。歯性内因感染源となるPorphyromonas gingivalis に対して、BCG接種による細胞性免疫の賦活化が効果があるかどうかを、月齢の異なるマウスの実験により検討した。その結果、若齢では殺菌活性が高まり、ワクチンとしての効果が認められたが、加齢に伴いその効果は弱まり、高齢では追加接種をしても細胞性免疫の賦活化は期待できないものと考えられた。
