Research Abstract

骨形成因子(BMP)は様々な組織・器官の発生・発達に重要な役割を果たしている増殖因子である。この研究ではマウス胎生期下顎および舌形成にBMPの果たす役割について調べた。その結果BMP2が金属プロテアーゼ13(MMP13)とMMP阻害因子1(TIMP1)の発現バランスを調節することによりマウス胎生期の舌形成を制御していることが明らかになった。
