Research Abstract

高温高圧のその場での高圧相合成した多結晶体からの弾性波速度を下部マントル最下部条件までの圧力において測定することに世界で初めて成功した。シリケイトサンプルの測定についても予備的実験をいくつか繰り返し、最適な干渉計の条件設定とレーザー出力との関係を綿密に調査し、加熱中のブリルアン散乱シグナルの測定を可能にした。。またこの技術開発をさらに発展させ大型放射光施設Spring-8において高温高圧条件下での音速その場測定システムの導入を行い、レーザー加熱光学系の構築および温度測定のためのシステムの開発は予定通りの時間スケールで導入することができた。下部マントルにおける高温高圧力での測定を行うことに成功した。
