Research Abstract

流体包有物の破壊現象であるデクレピテーションについて,その応力依存性を実験的に評価した. その結果,デクレピテーションにより生じたき裂の進展挙動から, デクレピテーションが生じた時に鉱物に作用している応力場を類推できる知見を得た. また, 外力を作用させた石英薄片を偏光顕微鏡で観察すると, 光弾性効果によりレタデーションの変化が生じる. このレタデーション変化により鉱物内の応力分布を評価できる可能性が明らかとなった.
