Research Abstract	本研究は,中国新彊ウイグル自治区天山山脈最高峰の托木尓(Tomur)峰から,タリム盆地に南流する台蘭(Tailan)河の河谷を対象として,氷河変動との関わりに着目して河成段丘の大まかな編年を試みるとともに,それに基づいて当該地域における活断層の活動度推定を行った。その結果,開析扇状地中の段丘に着目することで,乾燥地における活断層の活動度の定性的な推測が,ある程度可能であるという結論を得た。
