Research Abstract	平安前期(桓武天皇から一条天皇)の天皇が主催する詩宴(内宴、重陽宴、曲水宴、花宴)について復元作業を行い、それぞれの詩宴について変遷を辿った。その結果、天皇が主催する詩宴には二種類があることが明らかになった。天皇の意志に関わりなく開かる(国家の側が要求する)詩宴、天皇の私的な意志によって開かれる詩宴の二種類である。それらについては、参加者の性格が異なり、それぞれの場で詠まれる漢詩の表現にも違いが見出され、時代が進むに従って、前者が後者の中へと取り込まれていったことを明らかにした。
