| Research Abstract |
国際貿易における争点である「貿易と環境」と「貿易と労働」について経済学的な理論分析を中心に研究を行った.GATT/WTO協定は産品の特性に関連しない生産方法等に基づく貿易制限措置を認めていない.しかし,それらの措置は,森林の違法伐採を減らしたり,労働基準が緩い国に労働基準の強化を促したりする上で一定の効果があることを明らかにした.他方,それらの措置が偽装された保護貿易手段となる可能性があるため,その防止策について更なる検討が必要である.
