| Research Abstract |
σ共役高分子であるポリシランは様々な興味深い物性を示すが、それらの物性は主鎖構造に依存する。本課題では、このポリシランの主鎖構造を光によって制御することを試みた。ポリシランの側鎖に液晶性フォトクロミック化合物であるアゾベンゼン誘導体を導入し、光照射を行った。その結果、薄膜状態において、側鎖の光異性化によりポリシラン主鎖構造の変化を誘起することに成功した。また、熱的に逆反応を誘起できることも見いだした。
