| Research Abstract |
ケージド化合物は生理活性物質の活性部位を光分解性保護基で保護した化合物であるため、ケージド化合物を用いると細胞内外における活性物質の放出を光でコントロールできるようになる。本研究で開発された光分解性保護基を用いてケージドグルタミン酸を合成したところ、光でグルタミン酸を放出することが確認された。光分解の量子収率は0.04で、この値はすでにケージドグルタミン酸としての有用性が示されているMNI-Glutamateと同程度の値であった。
