| Research Abstract |
小径極薄の金属管からバルジ加工することによって高精度の串団子状の金属中空体を作り,それを積層・固化成形することによって均質な高信頼性超軽量ポーラス金属を安価かつ大量に製造する技術を開発した.また,作られた成形体の圧縮や曲げ試験を実施して機械特性を調査し,自動車の軽量化,高剛性,高衝突エネルギー吸収性を有することを確認し,製造面・性能面の両面から粉末冶金法等従来法に比べ大きく実用化に貢献した.
