| Research Abstract |
和歌山県白浜を中心にイシサンゴ類の分布、生殖、および水温変動を調査した。結果、白浜に優占していたのは12科27属47種で、そのうち、21種の産卵を観察することができた。産卵は水温が25度以上になった後の7-8月に観察された。一方、白化現象が冬季に見られ、低水温が白化を引き起こしていることが示唆された。また、交配実験および遺伝子解析の結果、特定の種間での交雑や、隠蔽種の存在が明らかとなった。さらに、遺伝子解析により遺伝子バーコードに使用可能となりうる遺伝子データを調査地点で見つけた全47種から得た。
