Research Abstract	淡水から海水にいたる様々な水辺環境への進出に成功した数少ない昆虫である双翅目昆虫のアシナガバエ科Hydrophorinae亜科について、このグループにおけるND5遺伝子の分子時計(0.01D=285万年)を算出した。さらに、海洋性アシナガバエHydrophorinae亜科の海水適応のグループが単系統であり、北大西洋地域に分布するAphrosylus属が一番最初に分化したグループであり、その起原が最も古いことが示唆された。
