Research Abstract

ボツリヌス神経毒素(A〜G型)は型特異的な受容体に結合する。そのうち、ボツリヌスD型毒素は他の型とは異なり、グリセロリン脂質の一つPEに結合する。本研究では、ボツリヌスD型神経毒素とPEの分子間相互作用について調べ、毒素分子内のPE認識に関わるアミノ酸残基を特定した。さらに表面プラズモン共鳴による結合解析の実験系を構築し、蛋白質-脂質の分子間相互作用について定量的に解析することを可能にした。
