Wissuwa Matthias  国立研究開発法人国際農林水産業研究センター, 生産環境・畜産領域, 主任研究員 (90442722)

Co-Investigator(Kenkyū-buntansha) ADEM GETNET  国立研究開発法人国際農林水産業研究センター, 生産環境・畜産領域, 外国人特別研究員
Project Period (FY) 2018-07-25 – 2021-03-31
KeywordsPUE / metabolic forms of P / fractionation of P
Outline of Annual Research Achievements

As indicated in previous plan, two experiments have been completed.
Manuscript for the first experiment was drafted. The focus of this experiment was on physiological and genetic control of PUE. The second experiment which is on the data analysis stage is focusing on fractionation of P into different metabolic forms of P and cellular distribution of P which is mainly done by JSPS fellow Hayes Patrick. The other experiments which are partly completed are transcriptomics and proteomics experiments which was done with JSPS fellow Prodhan Asad and Hayes Patrick.

Current Status of Research Progress
Current Status of Research Progress

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

Reasons- two experiments are completed and others are underway, another new experiment is planned.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

In 2020, one experiment is planned that investigates the progressive re-allocation of P during P starvation among efficient and inefficient genotypes.
