Research Abstract

研究期間内に収集するBelle実験での世界最大量のタウ崩壊データ(2-3,000fb-1~20-30億タウ対事象e^+e^-→τ^+τ^-)を精査し、Newphysicsの信号としてτ→=γ, =η, =η', =π, =Ks,=, =πK, Λπ(==μ or e)などの30を超えるLepton Flavor Violation(LFV)崩壊モードやタウ・レプトン電気双極子モーメント(EDM)の探索など多岐に亘る崩壊過程を大きく深め、New physics の発見に迫る。具体的には、LFVではNew physics事象が期待される分岐比Br=O(10^(-9))を、EDM ではdτ=O(10^(-19))e・cm の探索感度を目指す。同時に、高統計データを活かし2nd class current(SCC)やvector meson(ρ, K*)の磁気双極子モーメント、τ→φπ/Kνの測定など、標準理論の重要課題でありながら未検出、未確認であった物理事象を測定、発見する。
