Outline of Annual Research Achievements

主な目的は国際交渉力をグローバル人材育成の重要な要素と捉えて、その教材として活用されている模擬国連に参加する異なる学生の変化を実証的に分析しながら、国際交渉力の発達に相応しい学修環境の特徴を調査することにあった。この方針にしたがい、最終年度の2021年度は「GEIC 4: Research Methodology for Global Education」という研究テーマを設定し、これまでの課題である「GEIC 1: Learners' Profiles」「GEIC 2: Learning Environment」、「GEIC3: Effects of Teaching and Learners' Competence」に関するやり残し研究を実施した。具体的な調査項目として、①アンケート調査のデータ分析を踏まえて、事前に設定したグローバル人材コンピテンスの適切さを検証する。②異なる種類の参加者や国内外の異なるMUNの視察を踏まえて、国際交渉力の効率の良い学習環境を示す。③国内外の研究集会や学術会議で研究成果を発表する。④我が国における高等教育における模擬国連の具体的な役割や位置付けを明確にしながら、合理的なグローバル教育の方向性や指針を社会に提示する⑤今後のグローバル教育に関する調査や研究に関する指針を示す。世界的なパンデミックとして蔓延していた新型コロナ感染症の余波で、一部の国際会議が中止・延期などがまだ見られたため、2022年度に一部の研究活動を延長した。また、対面に頼らないグローバル教育の実践に関する新たな研究課題が生まれたが、時間の制約上、十分な研究が実施されず仕舞いとなった。将来的に他の研究課題として扱われることを期待する。
