Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
We have finished with all data quality assurance, data calibration, and production of enhanced data products by applying self-calibration. Scientific publications are on-going.
Continuum images of the whole survey have been released to the astronomical community with the first publications of the ALMA-IMF survey. Paper I makes the introduction to the ALMA-IMF large program and highlights first results and the potential that can be reached with the data sets, including both continuum and line emission. Paper II describes the data processing and production of the continuum images, making available to the community the scripts used for calibration and imaging of continuum. Paper III focuses on the top heavy core mass function found in the W43 mini-starburst region.
