Outline of Annual Research Achievements

都市では、地球温暖化とヒートアイランド現象という二つの温暖化が進行し、建物の高層化や密集化により都市形態が変化している。地球温暖化により台風の強大化が予測される中、建物の高層化・密集化の因子が加わり、都市では災害に対する脆弱性が高まっている。本課題では、建物の高層化・密集化が進む都市において台風といった極端気象現象による暴風災害リスクが温暖化時にどう変化するかを定量的に評価することを目的として、研究を実施した。

観測データの解析については、京都大学防災研究所宇治川オープンラボラトリーにおいて実施した気象観測・ドップラーライダー観測・ドローン観測で取得したデータの解析を実施し、京都市域の解析対象領域での気流変動特性や地表面温度を推定し、都市における乱流特性、温熱環境や安定度条件について整理した。また、ドップラーライダーのデータの結果を用いて、LESモデルの再現精度を検証した。これらの観測データの解析に基づき、LESモデルによる市街地の気流・乱流の数値シミュレーションを実施した。京都市市街地や東京都心の都市建物データを用いて実際の都市の建物や人工構造物をモデルに組み込み、京都市で観測史上第二位の暴風が発生した2018年台風21号や東京都心で暴風が吹いた2019年台風15号などを中心に、気象モデル・LESモデル結合による市街地での風速場・温度場の建物解像LESを実施した。擬似温暖化実験で得られた温暖化時の台風のシミュレーションデータに基づき、温暖化時の気象外力を評価した。これらの気象外力データをLESモデルに入力し、市街地での暴風リスクの将来変化を評価した。特に、建物の密集度や高さのばらつきによって平均風速・瞬間風速の出現特性を統計的に整理し、都市形態に応じた強風・突風を定量的に評価した。これらの解析に基づき、都市における暴風災害リスクを評価した。
