Outline of Final Research Achievements

In the present study, we found that several neuropeptides (including AVT, CCK and alpha-MSH) related to feeding regulation induces anxiety-like behavior in goldfish and zebrafish. Moreover, we also observed that ICV administration of these peptides may affect body pigmentation, suggesting that some neuropeptides potentially regulate not only food intake and emotional behavior, but also body coloration in these species.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
