Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the health counseling based on the model for promoting clinic visit was also effective in reducing the occurrence of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases. However, the final analysis was not completed due to the interruption of data collection caused by the COVID19 outbreak.
On the other hand, when the causal relationship between cerebrovascular and cardiovascular disease and each test variable was determined by giving a path diagram, the strongest association with cerebrovascular disease was HbA1c, and the strongest association with cardiovascular disease was diastolic blood pressure. Factors associated with the development of cardiovascular disease by AI were age, metabolic syndrome status, and LDL cholesterol, in that order.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
