Outline of Annual Research Achievements

トモエゴゼンカメラによって毎夜7000平方度を一回、その後2000平方度以上を1時間おきに観測する探査等を実施した。せいめい望遠鏡用TriCCSは、3バンドでの同時撮像をたちあげ、全国共同利用にも提供、観測時間も獲得して超新星の観測等を行った。近赤外線分光器NICEは、高地対応のための改修を完了した。
超新星研究としては、本課題における重要な検証シナリオであるDouble detonationシナリオにおいて、白色矮星表面に急速に降着するヘリウムの原子核反応の着火条件を高分解シミュレーションにより調査した(Iwata & Maeda 2022)ほか、Ia型の様々な亜種について放射モデルを構築し、観測データとの比較を通し親星や爆発の性質に強い制限を与えた(Maeda, Jiang, Doi et al. 2023; Maeda & Kawabata 2022)。観測研究においては、Ia-CSM型と呼ばれる特異なIa型超新星に関してTriCCSデータを含む包括的なデータセットを提供した(Uno et al. 2023ab)ほか、JWSTで初めての超新星観測を行った(Kwok et al. 2023)。他にも、Ia型超新星の標準的光源の使用に関連し系外星間空間物質の減光曲線の性質の研究(Nagao et al. 2022)、Ia-CSMの理解に関連しALMAにより超新星観測(Maeda, Michiyama, Chandra et al. 2023;Maeda, Chandra, Moriya et al. 2023)などが進展したほか、正体未解明の短時間突発天体であるFBOT天体をその増光期に初めて発見したほか(Jiang et al. 2022)、その放射モデルの構築を行った(Uno & Maeda 2023)。
その他にも突発天体や移動天体の研究成果があった。
