Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Our research project is mainly related to two areas, namely, cryptography and graph enumeration. We have developed some new and efficient techniques for the generation of cryptographically strong S-boxes using some algebraic notions. Moreover, we also proposed an efficient cryptographically secure image encryption technique by using a minimal number of S-boxes. This research resulted in four peer reviewed journal publications. Furthermore, we developed some methods of enumerating pairwise compatibility graphs (PCGs) by using linear programming. The research in this area resulted in two peer reviewed international conference papers and one poster presentation.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The aim of our proposed research project is to develop some secure substitution box image encyrption techniques based on algebraic and graph enumeration techniques. Until now, we have publised four peer reviewed journal papers and two papers in international conferences with peer reviewed proceedings on these topics. It is therefore that the research is progressing according to the research plan.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Our future aim is to further improve our newly developed techniques related to cryptography and graph enumeration. Further, we plan to use the graph enumeration tools in the field of cryptography for the security of image.
