Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The research task dealt with the works of women writers in the Weimar Republic and, above all, their literary activity during the Nazi period. First, a novel and a work of reportage about the United States by Maria Leitners were examined as Weimar literary works. Then Irmgard Keun's works during the Nazi period were analyzed and one of them was translated into Japanese. The difficulties faced by women writers after World War II were illustrated by Gabriele Tergit's unpublished manuscript and its inadequate treatment. In order to perform this task, several researches in Germany were necessary, but because of the pandemic, the change of the previous plan was required.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
