Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In the first year of the project, the researcher recruited and interviewed 11 mixed-ethnic participants for the study.All of these interviewes were transcribed, coded and analysed using the Constructivist Grounded Theory (GTA) approach. Coding and analytical procedures were conducted on MAXQDA, a qualitative analytical software.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
For the second year, the researcher plans to conduct interviews with more mixed-ethnic children and perform further analysis on the interview data.The researcher also plans to present the study at international conference, and write a paper for publication in a peer-reviewed international journal.

Causes of Carryover |
Funds will be used in the following year for transcribing interviews of more research participants. They will also be used to attend an international conference to disseminate the results of the study.
