Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, collecting data has been difficult. Collecting eye-tracking data requires participants and researchers to be in close proximity and it is difficult to maintain a suitable social distance. Between waves of infections, we were able to collect some limited data and write it up and submit to an international peer reviewed journal. We are still awaiting for acceptance for the paper. We had one paper published in a prestigious, peer-reviewed Journal, TESOL Quarterly (Evaluating the Vocabulary Coping Strategies of L2 Readers: An Eye Tracking Study). We have also presented at a virtual conference, AILA 2021 (L2 readers' vocabulary coping strategies and their effect: An eye tracking study).
