Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In the fourth year of our project, we were able to prepare 3 papers for submission: (a) Formative assessments and student understanding, (b) Formative assessments and ICT tools from the students perspective), and (c) Formative Assessment in teacher training). We were also able to complete one 1 presentation of formative assessments role in learner autonomy. We are now in the process of preparing them for publication with one paper in a domestic journal and two in oversees journals. We has also finished the main product of this project which is our website that introduces ICT tools for formative assessment for the EFL teacher. We are now in the process of translating the website into English for a broader audience. Furthermore, within our research framework, we have built another hypothesis in that formative assessment is not only a "form of assessment" per se, but it is actually a "practice" in learning design and instruction in which we plan to test in the future.
