| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During stage 1 (2018) of the project:
(1) an extensive literature review was conducted; (2) findings were consolidated by means of N-Vivo software; (3) approval from the ethics boards of 3 universities was obtained
(4) a pilot study was completed; (5) one academic paper was written and is currently under consideration by an academic journal for publication.
During stage 2 (2019) of the project:
(1) case study data was collected from two universities in Japan and one in the U.S.; (2) oral interviews were transcribed and entered into data analysis software; (3) all interviews were coded and prepared for analysis; (4) preliminary results of the study were presented at an international conference in the U.S.; (5) a second academic paper was written

Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
We have followed our research schedule that was initially planned, and now all that remains is to analyze the results and write up the research paper.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
From here onwards, we plan to:
(1) analyze the data from students self-made videos
(2) input data from student self- and peer assessment documents
(3) find connections between all the data from the case study
(4) write up our findings in a research paper
(5) search for an opportunity to present these findings at an international conference (although, with the current pandemic, this may not be possible)

| Causes of Carryover |
コロナウイルス感染症にかかる制限により予定に変更が生じたため次年度に使用する。
国際学会で発表する予定ですので、旅費のため使用する。
