・研究成果：東アジアにおける石炭カルテルについて
（1）学会報告：Toshitaka NAGAHIRO, Yu YAMAMOTO “The International Coal Cartels in the East Asian Market, 1916-37“ 本報告は2018年8月1日に、XVⅢ World Economic History Congress（於 マサチューセッツ工科大学）において、“International Cartels in the 19th and 20th century: National Perspectives ”と題するセッションにおいて行なった。本セッションにおいてアジアを事例とした報告は本報告のみであったが、セッションの他の報告と合わせて比較することで、本報告で扱った東アジア石炭カルテルの特殊性と一般性が示された点が有意義であった。なお本報告を基に執筆した英文論文は、上記セッションメンバーとの研究書として、2021年度中に刊行される予定である。
・研究成果2：炭鉱企業における資源配分と技術開発
新型コロナウィルス蔓延という状況下で、2020年度に開催されるはずであった国際会議World Congress on Business History が、2021年9月に延期となった。前記国際会議において、“Income Distribution and Technological development in Coal Mine Companies”と題するパネルディスカッションを組織し、“The technical change and labor situation of the Fushun coal mine”と題する研究報告を行なう。本パネルディスカッションにおいて扱う、中国東北部・日本・東ヨーロッパの事例から、炭鉱企業における企業内「資源」配分と技術開発の事例が国際比較の観点からも再定置可能となる。なお、本報告については、後日、論文として成果を提出する予定である。
