Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study examined how California's laws and policies influence other states and federal laws, and why California is able to develop pioneering strategies. Through this examination, we made specific recommendations for climate change law and policy in Japan. At first glance, California's efforts may seem to be unique to that state, but it shares the same concerns as Japan. We published Californian climate change law and policy in Japanese.

オバマ政権、トランプ政権、バイデン政権と気候変動政策が転換してきたアメリカで、カリフォルニア州がどのように連邦政府と共同し、衝突してきたのかを検討する。カリフォルニア州の気候変動の取り組みが、どのような特徴を有しているかを探り、それがどこまで普遍的で、一般的な争点にまで浮上するかという問題に挑戦している。
