Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this research is to elucidate how industrial technology in modern China was inherited beyond political changes such as socialization. As the culmination of this research, we have applied for a FY2024 grant to publish “The Transformation of the Modern Chinese Cotton Industry. The book was to be the first specialized book to systematically discuss the transformation of the modern Chinese cotton industry from the training of technicians to the establishment of the catch-up structure of the modern Chinese cotton industry, its impact on the management of spinning mills, and the transformation of the relationship between Japanese and Chinese trade unions, but unfortunately it was not accepted. We will reapply for the FY2025 grant to promote the publication of our research results and also apply for publication grants from private foundations to realize publication of the book.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
