| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
I have completed some conceptual research papers based on the literature review in FY2018. During this fiscal year, I have collected company and environment data to test the hypotheses developed in these conceptual papers. These empirical data were available from field surveys and databases such as the company’s website and annual reports, government website, stock exchanges, and public news. In this fiscal year, I have published research articles related to the sustainability strategies of Asian multinational enterprises in terms of post-acquisition combined organizations, businesses in environmentally sensitive industries, liabilities of country of origin, as well as regionalization and international trade agreements.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The research progress for FY2019 went smoothly according to the initial plan, thanks to the achievements as expected being carried forward from FY2018. The research work as planned for FY2020 has also been started.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In FY2020, I will complete research papers with implications for theories, management practices, and government policies in Japan and other countries to ensure that all concerned stakeholders, including government, NGOs, and broader societies can achieve their sustainability goals through the globalization of Asian MNCs in the new global environment. Meanwhile, I will submit these papers to various publication outlets.
