Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Although I was unable to do fieldwork in Cambodia due to the pandemic I did participate in a study and publish an article about the educational response to the Covid pandemic by K-12 education systems in five nations. This article is listed below:
Duggan, J.M.; Fajardo, J.C.C.; Figueroa, R.B.; Yassin, E.; Dawson, W.P. & Jung, I. (2021). "K-12 Education Responses to COVID-19: A Comparison of Five Countries. In International Journal of Educational Media and Technology. 15, 1.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Because of the difficulty in doing field research in Cambodia my research plan is behind schedule. I hope to travel to Cambodia in the fall of 2022 or early in 2023 to perform my field research and resume progress on this research study.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
I will be going on research leave from June 2022 to August 2023, so this should afford me ample time to do my field research, analyze data, and prepare several manuscripts for publication. I am also planning to secure a book contract with an academic publisher in the near future.
|
Causes of Carryover |
Because of the global pandemic I could not do fieldwork in Cambodia. From this summer I should be able to fieldwork and use my research grant money to fund that research to get back on track with my project.
