Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Investigation for synthesis of hydride superconductor under ultra-high pressure was performed using hydrogen-rich molecule as starting material. As a result, superconducting behavior was observed on thiourea having N-H-S hydrogen bond in a crystal structure under the pressure above 160 GPa. It suggests that hydrogen bond in a starting material is important for synthesis of superconducting hydride under high pressure.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
