Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The first pursued line of research was within an international collaboration that I led and that involved researchers at the Univ. of Modena (Italy) and at the Univ. of Hull (UK). The project centered around non-relativistic quantum field theories on 1D rotating rings. Results have been published in J. of Phys. A. The second research line I have pursued cfocused on the Casimir effect. This work has produced an invited review paper that will appear in a volume on recent developments in the field that include the contributions of many of the world-leading experts. Also, I am currently finalizing an additional (research) article on the Casimir effect for rotating systems.
