広天域撮像サーベイを用いた密度ゆらぎの総量の精密測定

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

すばる望遠鏡HSCサーベイを用いた解析により引き続き多くの成果が得られた。重力レンズシアパワースペクトルの解析に加えて、実空間での相関関数解析による宇宙論の制限を得て無矛盾な結果を得た。またPOLARBEAR実験による宇宙背景放射の偏光観測の重力レンズ測定とHSCの重力レンズシア測定の相互相関パワースペクトルを測定し3.5シグマで検出した。これは宇宙背景放射偏光重力レンズと重力レンズシアとの相互相関の初の検出である。これらは全てHSCサーベイ初年度データの成果であるが、HSCサーベイの三年目データを用いた研究に向けてデータのチェックや銀河団サンプル作りなどの基礎的な研究も行なった。
銀河団の性質を詳しく調べる理論的および観測的研究も行った。HSCサーベイから得られた巨大銀河団サンプルのスタック重力レンズ解析により、その質量分布を詳細に調べN体シミュレーションから得られる分布と矛盾がないことをチェックしまたその質量を精確に較正した。またHSCサーベイで多数の衝突銀河団サンプルを構築しその質量分布やガス分布などを詳細に調べた。理論研究では、銀河団の周りの銀河の位相分布をシミュレーションを用いて詳細に調べ、銀河団周りの銀河の視線速度分布を用いた新しい銀河団質量較正法を提唱した。また準解析的アプローチにより重力レンズマップから探索される銀河団サンプルの質量バイアスを銀河団の質量や赤方偏移の関数として定量化した。以上にように様々なテーマで多くの研究成果が得られた。

Reason

HSCサーベイから引き続き多くの成果が得られ、特にパワースペクトル解析に加えて銀河団の質量分布を特徴付ける観測研究に大きな進展があった。HSCサーベイの三年目データには多少の遅れはあるが引き続き関連研究を精力的に行っていきたい。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

HSCサーベイの三年目データの重力レンズシアカタログを完成させそれを用いた宇宙論的研究を行いたい。また関連する理論研究にも積極的に取り組み、質量密度パワースペクトルとハロー質量分布の関連をより深く理解する。

Causes of Carryover

研究打ち合わせの予定を次年度に持ち越したため。研究打ち合わせの旅費に用いる。
