| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During this year, we built upon the results which were published in Feb 2021 (Cassidy et al., Journal of Applied Physics 129 155201, 2021). We performed careful characterization, experimentally and from theory perspective, of the optics associated with our microscope off-axis holography set-up.
We comprehensively derived the underlying equations which define the reconstructed amplitude signal in off-axis electron holography, including the effect of aperture size (no. of scattered beams) upon the final reconstructed amplitude.
We prepared a manuscript summarizing our results in early 2022, which is currently submitted to a journal and under review
