Outline of Annual Research Achievements

広範囲撮影において、高い空間分解能の圧縮センシングMRI撮影の臨床的診断能を検討するにあたり、下記の項目に着目して研究を行った。
(1)脳動静脈奇形を対象として、圧縮センシングを応用し撮影時間短縮の追求を行った。また、広範囲撮影の圧縮センシング併用の高解像度の脳MR angiographyにおいてデータ収集を行い、正しく病態が評価できることを証明した。動静脈瘻においても同様に評価可能であった。
(2)圧縮センシングによる体動アーチファクトの除去の検討として、頸動脈MR angiographyにおける嚥下運動や呼吸、動脈拍動などの生理的な動きによるアーチファクトについてデータ収集を行った。生理的な動きが主体の体動が多い場合は、圧縮センシング撮影を行うことにより、撮影時間短縮による画質改善が得られた。
(3)圧縮センシングによる頸動脈血管壁のプラーク・イメージングについては、出血を含んだ状態である不安定プラークの検出を中心にデータ収集を行った。頸動脈は、撮影中の生理的な動きによるアーチファクトが生じやすいが、圧縮センシングによるノイズ除去効果により血管内の信号を除去し、血管壁の動脈硬化の描出能が向上することを見出した。また、撮影時間短縮により画質改善が得られた。
(4)圧縮センシングによる使用造影剤の減量に着目し、造影MR血管撮影のデータ収集を行った。造影剤投与前後のデータを差分することにより、スパース性が向上し、バックグラウンドの画素値を低下させることにより、血管の描出が向上した。通常量の造影剤は、多くの時相で動脈から静脈まで滞留するという欠点があったが、造影剤減量により、造影剤の到達の経過が明瞭になるという効果も得られた。造影剤の減量方法を決定し、データ収集を進めた。
