Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Superficial cancer, which is common in the elderly, is often well-differentiated and slowly develops, and is often a uniform tissue. In order to elucidate the difference from invasive cancer at the molecular level, we will analyze the molecular group of heterogeneity in head and neck cancer tumors. If this elucidates the mechanism of development of heterogeneity in head and neck cancer, it will provide extremely useful basic information on treatment resistance, and will provide the most suitable treatment for individuals, especially the elderly, who are not based solely on the conventional TNM classification. Enforcement can be expected. Furthermore, analysis of non-cancerous tissue around the tumor tissue is also performed to try to grow and suppress each tumor nest.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
