Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed new bone filling material, MFOIP-CHA containing FGF-2, osteoblast and antibacterial peptide. MFOIP-CHA showed great bone formation ability and infection control rate compared with control. Therefore, we conclude that MFOIP-CHA is a good candidate for use to jaw bone reconstruction for implant treatment after a malignant tumor and the resection of mandible in osteomyelitis.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
