Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We created teaching materials to improve the accuracy of assessment of fidgety movements, which is the most useful in General Movements (GMs) assessment. We conducted surveys of the accuracy of individual assessors in Japan and found that the accuracy was insufficient for clinical practice. At the beginning of this research, we planned to create a system to display the reference video in parallel and assess the pattern more similar. Therefore, we have created video teaching materials that allows individual assessors to repeatedly proofread their evaluation ability. It was confirmed that the teaching materials increased the assessment accuracy to the extent that it could withstand clinical practice, and we have created a DVD teaching material. The DVD have distributed free of charge to assessors aiming to practice GMs assessment in Japan.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
