Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Constraint induced movement therapy (CIMT) was performed on six subjects in this study. Four patients showed improvement in Fugl-Meyer Assessment after CIMT. Five patients showed improvement in Jobsen-Taylor Hand Function Test and Pediatric Motor Activity Log-Revised. Follow-up surveys confirmed that the patients generally maintained improvement in upper extremity function 6 months and 1 year after the end of CI therapy. Safety was confirmed with no adverse events during the intervention in all subjects. Regarding feasibility, five subjects achieved more than 30 hours of training, but in one subject, total training hours were less than 30 hours due to inadequate management.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
