Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, the principal researcher and co-researcher attempted to extend the SOFAR model, which analyzes university-community partnerships used in Service-learning (SL), by applying the “participatory development theory” discussed in development assistance.
As a result, two points were found: (1) the expansion of “students” in terms of participation and (2) the inclusion of non-participation in “local residents,” which makes it possible to take into account the effects of hidden stakeholders.

ボランティアを実施する側と受け入れ側社会・個人の相互利益を形成するプログラム開発に向けて、ステークホルダーを正確に捉え、活動成果の評価基準の精緻化に向けた理論的貢献をおこなった。その際に、教育学におけるサービス・ラーニング論と国際開発学における参加型開発論の両分野の研究成果を応用した学際的なアプローチを採用したことに学術的意義がある。
