3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
Although we implemented the pilot survey at Takasakiyama, we have not yet conducted the main questionnaire survey at Yudanaka.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Follow-up interviews to investigate how monkeys spill out into the town (need to ask about use of dogs & electric fences c.f. Takasakiyama); NP border & zoning issue: perceptions of Snow Monkeys IN or OUT of NP; reality = Cat. 2; Follow-up interview with MoE ranger = H-san; Follow-up interview with Enza cafe = Dutch L/T worker; Follow-up interviews with Shibu onsen = K-san; Questionnaire survey @ Yudanaka in winter 2020. 1 or 2 domestic & international conference presentations. Multi-lingual survey.
