Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The initial stages of the project saw the appearance of an article in Notes & Queries, published through the Oxford University Press. Research on the crossroads of classical and oriental mimesis culminated in the publication of the book, Tradition and Emancipation in Horace and Alexander Pope. This being the first monograph for the principal investigator, the researcher is grateful is the funding provided by the JSPS, which enabled the realization of such an undertaking. Throughout the duration of the project, the researcher continued to deliver papers, in person in England as well as in an online or hybrid format during the pandemic years. The project concluded with investigations on wider and more improved methods concerning one’s dissemination of research results. The endeavor included observation of a TedEx conference in North America in the final year of the project.
