Outline of Annual Research Achievements	During 2019 I have achieved the following. First, a co-written chapter in a major two-volume text by Takashi Inoguchi on Foreign Policy in Asia. Second, chairing and presenting panels at international conferences in Bangkok (Thailand) and Edinburgh (UK). Third, related to my book projects, I have gathered all contributors and the necessary preliminary chapters for submission of my two edited volumes: one about the Mekong sub-region, and another on Myanmar`s first period of democracy. Future planning into 2020 has me completing the proposals for my two edited book volumes in addition to completing the final stages of 2-3 research papers I have ready for submission.
Current Status of Research Progress	Current Status of Research Progress 2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned. Reason Research and writing going well. Multiple international conferences and media tie-ins. Book projects progressing. Measures to deal with corona pandemic going smoothly.
Strategy for Future Research Activity	To complete two edited book projects that I am leading.
